Aung San Suu Kyi faces new charge as she appears in Myanmar court via video link

Myanmar’s ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi appeared in good health at a court hearing via video link on Monday, her lawyer says.

Her appearance came a day after at least 18 protesters were killed by security forces in the bloodiest crackdown since the military takeover.
During the appearance, lawyer Min Min Soe announced that an additional charge had been added to those filed against Ms Suu Kyi since the military coup a month ago.
