Fluffy the koala’s incredible survival story

Concerned residents called the Ipswich Koala Protection Society (IKPS) in October last year when a koala was attacked by a dog at Lowood.When the koala mother, Fluffy, and her baby, Andy, were taken to the RSPCA Wildlife Hospital, there were no obvious signs of injury apart from a scratch on Fluffy’s face.The vets found Fluffy had an internal tear in her chest wall, a collapsed lung, broken ribs and extensive bruising.But despite the pain, Fluffy was still carrying her baby on her back.“Her…
