Queensland police appeal for information over 2009 cold case shooting of Omega Ruston on Gold Coast Highway
Queensland police have launched a fresh appeal for information in the cold case investigation into the shooting of Omega Ruston who was killed on Australia Day in 2009.

Mr Ruston, 32, was standing next to his car on the side of the Gold Coast Highway at Burleigh Heads when a passenger in a red sedan shot him twice.
Police believe the two cars were part of a road range incident just minutes before Mr Ruston was fatally shot in the abdomen.
