Bruce McAvaney to step back from AFL commentary in 2021 – 7NEWS.com.au
The iconic broadcaster won’t be in the commentary box this AFL season – but Bruce says he isn’t anywhere near retirement.

He has called more than a thousand games, including 20 Grand Finals, but the siren has finally sounded on Bruce McAvaneys remarkable AFL commentary career.
While he will continue to be part of the 7AFL team, Bruce wont be in the commentary box for the 2021 AFL season.
