Prolific buyer James Harron supercharged the Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale on Sunday, buying two striking colts, only minutes apart, for $340,000 and $1.1m respectively.
The $1.1m Written Tycoon colt is out of the Listed-winning Fastnet Rock mare Gybe, whose two foals to race are both winners.
The Blue Gum Farm-bred colt is the second horse to make $1m in Victorian sales history behind now Philip Stokes-trained Octane (I Am Invincible x Soorena), who Ciaron Maher bought for $1.4m in 2017.
