‘I know this will disappoint some of you’

NBA player Jeremy Lin says he won’t name and shame any offenders after revealing that he’d been called “coronavirus” while playing.
Lin, currently playing for Golden State’s G-League affiliate – the Santa Cruz Warriors – made the revelation in an Instagram post denouncing racism against people of Asian heritage.
Amid the post, he wrote: “Being a 9 year NBA veteran doesn’t protect me from being called ‘coronavirus’ on the court.” The G-League is investigating the claim.
