Inaugural All-Star Mile winner set to receive veterinary attention this week
Inaugural All-Star Mile winner Mystic Journey has sustained an injury that will require surgery following her fifth in yesterday’s $200,000 Group 2 Darley Blamey Stakes (1600m) at Flemington.
Any chance of Mystic Journey participating in next month’s All-Star Mile ended on Sunday as owner Wayne Roser told Racing.com that the Adam Trinder-trained mare had sustained bone chips and bruising in a knee.
