Victoria records no new COVID-19 cases for another day but viral fragments are detected in wastewater samples taken from Melbourne’s outer west and north-east.
Victoria has recorded zero new coronavirus cases for the second day in a row, the state’s health department says.

- Viral fragments have been found in wastewater around Lilydale and Olinda
- There have also been wastewater fragments found in Melbourne’s outer west
- 3,762 Victorians have been vaccinated since the program started last Monday
Health authorities received 7,440 COVID-19 test results on Saturday, a decrease from the 10,297 processed the previous day.
