‘Police seething’ at Corey Norman, Dragons claiming victim status in street fight – Wide World of Sports
’50-50 call’ on star playmaker being charged

The NRL and police are irritated at Corey Norman and the Dragons playing the victim card after the star playmaker’s Cronulla street fight last month.
That’s according to Nine NRL reporter Danny Weidler, writing in his Sun Herald column, with the revelation that it was a “50-50 call” on Norman being charged.
Norman claimed that he became involved in the fight after fellow NRL player and friend James Segayaro was racially abused. The pair also claimed that there was the threat of a knife being produced.
