Facebook settles $US650m privacy lawsuit – Sydney Morning Herald
A judge approved the deal in a 2015 Illinois class-action involving nearly 1.6 million Facebook users.

Jay Edelson, a Chicago attorney who filed the lawsuit, told the Chicago Tribune that the cheques could be in the mail within two months unless the ruling is appealed.
