Luka Doncic was averaging 31.5 points from his past 10 games. That was, before he was put through hell by the Philadelphia 76ers Ben Simmons.
The Philly Voices Kyle Neubeck was far from the only NBA writer to echo similar sentiments after Simmons single-handedly shut down the Dallas Mavericks offence by cutting off their two-time All-Star in the 111-97 win.
Doncic himself refused to give Simmons any love post-game, telling reporters: I dont really pay attention to whos on me.
