Indonesia reports 8,232 new COVID-19 cases, 268 more deaths – Xinhua | English.news.cn – Xinhua

JAKARTA, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) — The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 8,232 within one day to 1,322,866, with the death toll adding by 268 to 35,786, the health ministry said on Friday.
According to the ministry, 7,261 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 1,128,672.
The virus has spread to all the country’s 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, West Java recorded 2,314 new cases, Jakarta 1,661, Central Java 653, East Java 541…
