Alex Glenn has retained the Broncos’ captaincy for 2021 in a show of faith by Kevin Walters leading into the veteran’s testimonial match at Redcliffe on Saturday night.
The 267-gamer endured a difficult first season in charge of the Broncos last year with the side falling to bottom of the Telstra Premiership ladder and ultimately leading to Walters taking over from Anthony Seibold.
However, Walters has stood by Glenn, the longest-serving player at the club, to guide the side’s progress this year.
