DOUBTING Thomass will be looking for rocks to hide under should Team Hawkes superstar colt Ole Kirk bounce back as expected and win the Group 1 $1m Australian Guineas at Flemington.
Co-trainer Wayne Hawkes said the decision to back up Ole Kirk after a lacklustre, albeit excusable, performance in the Group 1 Futurity Stakes last Saturday at Caulfield was not one taken lightly.
