Queensland farmers are preparing to harvest millions of shepard avocados as the delicious fruit comes back into season.
Known for its bright skin, nutty taste and ability to stay green once cut open, the
avocado is one of the few fruits only grown in Queensland.“They’re slow-growing, you know, they don’t hit full production for about seven years.” Farmer, Tim Keogh.
