Pies star defends ‘eyebrow-raising’ leadership group call – Fox Sports

Collingwood star Taylor Adams has publicly defended the decision to name teammate Steele Sidebottom in the leadership group.
Sidebottom was banned for four games in 2020 after breaching the AFLs COVID-19 rules and being found intoxicated and half-naked in Melbourne.
The 30-year-olds continuation as vice-captain in 2021 was a cause of bewilderment for former AFL greats Tim Watson and Garry Lyon, something Adams directly addressed on Twitter, replying to a tweet that labelled the move eyebrow-raising.
