The COVID-19 vaccination rollout has officially begun on the Sunshine Coast. Resident James McWilliam was one of the first in the region to receive the jab at Ormsby McKenzie Aged Care this morning.
Immunisations were meant to go ahead yesterday but were delayed after two elderly people in Brisbane received four times the recommended dose on Wednesday. More vaccinations will be rolled out at Sunshine Coast University Hospital from next week.
