Varsity Lakes ‘murder’: Belt, axe seized after elderly Queensland woman found dead by daughter
An axe and belt have been seized during an investigation into the alleged murder of an elderly Queensland woman.
The 81-year-old woman was found dead inside the garage of the Varsity Lakes home, on the Gold Coast, on Thursday afternoon.
An 82-year-old man, believed to be the woman’s husband, was also found at the residence and was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
