LATEST COVID-19 DEVELOPMENTS:
Four new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Queensland overnight, all in hotel quarantine after being acquired overseas. That is the biggest single day increase since mid-January, and comes as the Palaszczuk government continues to lobby the Commonwealth to support remote quarantine.
Queensland will lift travel restrictions on Victoria from 1am Saturday, as the southern state lifts its social gathering limits and mandatory masks in some settings.
