Sydney news: Raft of restrictions ease in NSW as the state approaches 40 COVID-19-free days
Here’s what you need to know this morning.
NSW COVID-19 restrictions ease
More COVID-19 restrictions have been eased overnight as NSW recorded 39 days without any local cases yesterday.
Fifty visitors are now be allowed in the home, and 30 people permitted to dance at weddings, with different guests allowed to swap on and off the dance floor.
Gym classes can have 50 people, subject to the four square metre rule.
Up to 30 people can sing indoors, as long as choirs physically distance.
In places of worship, people can sing as long as they wear masks and the four-square-metre rule is applied.
And cinemas can now have 100 per cent capacity.
