Cricket fans have gone wild over what one pundit described as “the most insane day of Test cricket I have ever seen”.
It all happened in the space of an hour and a half in the pink-ball Test between England and India at Ahmedabad.
England captain Joe Root has been in fine form with the bat in recent weeks and he hit a purple patch with the ball in hand as well.
On Thursday night (AEDT) part-time off-spinner Root tore India apart in a ridiculous bowling spell on Day 2 of the third Test to claim career-best figures of 5-8.
