Queensland Health puts 99 suburbs on alert over COVID detection in sewage

Hundreds of Brisbane residents have been put on alert after the fragments of COVID were detected in wastewater.
Two separate wastewater treatment plants – Luggage Point and Victoria Point – tested positive for the virus, Queensland Health said on Thursday.
The catchments service 99 suburbs in the Metro North region of Brisbane, as well as some inner-city suburbs on the southside.
