After decades of a ‘suits and surf wear’ dichotomy, Australian menswear is in the midst of a reinvention. And consumers are the big winners.

COMMAS epitomises a new breed of Australian menswear label that has broken free of the suits and surf wear dichotomy of decades past. For years, the menswear show at MFF was up to 70 per cent suits, with some high-concept streetwear thrown in. What lacked was the middle ground, for the guy who wanted to dress well but was tired of logo T-shirts and jeans being among his only choices.
