Essendons new-look baby Bombers have already shown plenty of promise in 2021.
While Carlton were the team to come out on top in the clubs first official practice match of the season, there were a number of impressive signs for Ben Ruttens team.
With the loss of Adam Saad, the Bombers have been forced into a new-look backline which included captain Dyson Heppell and a host of youngsters.
