Jill Biden has spoken candidly about “healing” from her divorce from her first husband in her first solo interview as US First Lady.
In an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, set to air on Thursday in the US, Jill, 69, reflects on her split from Bill Stevenson the year before she met Joe Biden.
“I look back on it now and I think … if I hadn’t gotten divorced, I never would have met Joe, I wouldn’t have the beautiful family I have now,” she says in a preview clip.
