Elderly woman dead, man raced to hospital after neighbour’s shock discovery on the Gold Coast
A shocked neighbour alerted emergency services after finding an elderly couple lying motionless in their Gold Coast house.
The woman was declared dead at the scene but her partner has been rushed to hospital.
A crime scene has been established at the house on Gerona St in Varsity Lakes.
Both the elderly man and woman are in their 80s.
