ASX set to lift; Afterpay raising $1.25b; Aussie near 80 US cents – The Sydney Morning Herald
The ASX 200 is expected to bounce back on Thursday after a positive overnight session in the US. The Aussie dollar hit a new three-year high of 79.73 US cents.

Ramsay has signed on to agreements with governments around the world to help support public health care systems in the fight against the virus.
The company revealed this morning that it received $394.5 million from the UK government for services, though the pandemic saw UK revenues down 82.5 per cent, to $86.4 million.
In Europe, it received $222.8 million for the half from governments but revenues were also flat, at $3.1 billion.
