Linda Reynolds admitted to hospital hours ahead of National Press Club appearance

Defence Minister Linda Reynolds has been admitted to hospital and will not face the National Press Club on Wednesday where she was expected to be grilled about the alleged rape of Brittany Higgins.

In a statement issued on Wednesday morning, Reynolds confirmed she would take a “period of medical leave” following advice from her doctor regarding a pre-existing medical condition.
