AFL clubs will get their first official chance to tune-up ahead of the pre-season with a host of games to get underway this week.
New Carlton recruit Adam Saad could face off against his former side on Thursday morning when the Blues play the Bombers at Ikon Park.
To avoid any logistical issues regarding interstate travel, clubs will only play against opposition based in the same state.
