Former NRL star Sam Burgess has allegedly failed a roadside drug test and has been charged with traffic offences in the New South Wales Southern Highlands.
- The ABC understands police will allege Burgess tested positive for cocaine during a random drug test
- Burgess is charged with driving without a valid NSW licence and using an unregistered vehicle
- A second drug test has been sent for more analysis
Burgess, 32, was stopped in a BMW X5 at Braemar earlier this afternoon by highway patrol officers.
