Parents jailed for torture and manslaughter of toddler daughter Maddilyn-Rose Ava Stokes

A Brisbane couple who refused to seek medical treatment for their two-year-old daughter and let her suffer in “excruciating pain” with second degree burns for several days before the child died of her injuries have been jailed for more than nine years for her manslaughter.
