Nothing could split the Indigenous and Maori All Stars but the good news for the Rabbitohs was the return of Latrell Mitchell.

Like Rabbitohs great Greg Inglis before him, Mitchell would have the honour of leading the Indigenous war chant, surging skywards from the middle of a circle of players before taking his place at the vanguard of the retort to a fearsome and memorable Maori haka.
The fullback is such a key part of a South Sydney side that many have firmly in the premiership mix and Wayne Bennett simply needed him to get through the night unscathed.
