Rugby league in mourning after Maroochydore Swans player Dale Best dies during a trial game
The Sunshine Coast rugby league community is mourning after the sudden death of a beloved player during a game on Saturday afternoon.Dale Best had been playing for the Maroochydore Swans in a trial game against the Kawana Dolphins at the Kawana sports precinct when he collapsed on the field.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics were called the sports complex on Nicklin Way just after 5.12pm for a medical incident.
