MG Motor has confirmed its HS plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) will land in Australian showrooms next month to take on the likes of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and incoming Ford Escape PHEV, as well as the hot-selling Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.
Underpinning the HS PHEV is a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine and 90kW electric motor combo, which sends drive to the front wheels.
