Star Kiwi mare wins third G1 on Australian soil at Caulfield on Saturday
Star Kiwi mare Probabeel claimed her third Group 1 race on Australian soil with a decisive swooping victory in the $500,000 Lamaro’s South Melbourne Futurity Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on Saturday.
Trained by Jamie Richards and guided to victory by Damian Lane, Probabeel ($3.50 equal favourite) defeated Arcadia Queen ($4.60) by half a length, with Mr Quickie ($17) a further two lengths away in third and Behemoth ($3.50 equal favourite) fourth.
