Queensland’s Chief Health Officer hopes vaccines will end border closures – Sydney Morning Herald
Dr Jeannette Young said she never realised how many people travel every day between NSW and Queensland.
Border closures in response to interstate outbreaks also caused havoc and heartbreak for families, tourists and border communities. Asked whether the advent of the vaccine meant people in NSW and Victoria will not be locked out of Queensland again, Dr Young said: I desperately hope so.
