Joel Embiid has firmly entrenched himself in the MVP conversation after scoring a career-high 50 points to lead a Philadelphia 76ers side missing Ben Simmons to a 112-105 win over the Chicago Bulls.
Simmons, who has been dominant in February averaging more than 20 points, missed his second straight game due to illness.
