Bulldogs player Adam Elliott has vowed to seek professional help for an alcohol problem in a bid to save his rugby league career.
The Canterbury board has decided against punishing Elliot for his reported involvement in a lovers quarrel with former teammate Michael Lichaa and his partner. The club said since Elliot stepped forward and decided to seek help with his issues, they opted against sanctioning the forward.
