Georgina Aldridge, 44, a grandmother-of-six, recently made headlines for running away with her daughter Jess partner Ryan Shelton.
Shelton, 15 years her junior, sent Jess a text hours after shed given birth to their son, telling her he was ending their relationship.
The couple have been met with a barrage of abuse over the love affair.
But an unapologetic Aldridge simply told The Sun: These things happen.
