Kelly Preston, actress and wife of John Travolta, dies at 57 – Sydney Morning Herald

Actress Kelly Preston, whose credits included the films Twins and Jerry Maguire, died on Sunday, her husband John Travolta said. She was 57.
Travolta confirmed his wife’s death in an Instagram post late on Sunday, US time. He said she died after a two-year battle with breast cancer.

“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer,” Travolta said of his wife of 28 years. “She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.”
Preston had a lengthy acting career in movies and television, at times appearing together in films with her husband, as they did in the box-office bomb Battlefield Earth in 2000. They had three children together.
