Latest coronavirus rate for each part of Birmingham and West Midlands with 12 areas in top 50 – Birmingham Live
The rate is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people
Thursday’s update on Covid-19 case rates for every local authority area in England has been released by Public Health England.
Sandwell in the West Midlands is in third place, down from 383.3 to 271.0, with 890 new cases.
It comes as ministers begin to thrash out the exit strategy for the COVID lockdown, which England has been in since January.
