If this sounds like the sort of thing Cruella de Vil would get into when not kidnapping puppies, youre on the mark. Conceived by the British writer-director J. Blakeson (The Disappearance of AliceCreed) as a satire on American capitalism, I Care A Lot is glossy, full of stylised dialogue and about as realistically plotted as a Tom and Jerry cartoon, complete with murder attempts that leave few or no visible scars.
