Sunnybank, Banoon train station in lockdown as Queensland Police address emergency incident in Brisbane
The local train station and a block of streets in the Brisbane suburb of Sunnybank have been locked down by Queensland Police.
Police have made an emergency declaration for an area bounded by Dyson Avenue, Geddes Place, Beenleigh Road and Ganda Place.
The area includes Banoon train station, which is on the Beenleigh line.
“Residents within the exclusion zone are urged to follow the advice of emergency services on the ground,” Queensland Police said.
