Third man to face court over alleged Gold Coast double murder

The pair, who police said at the time were friends with the alleged victims, were accused of doing a “dry run” of the attack that was intended to target Mr Ross.

An arrest warrant was also issued at the time for a 31-year-old man, in custody in NSW, on the same charges.

In an update on Wednesday, Queensland police the man, now 32, had been extradited and charged. He faces two counts of serious organised crime-related murder and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

“The man was today extradited from Grafton in New South Wales back to the Gold Coast and will face Southport Magistrates Court [on Thursday],” a police statement said.
