Man charged over ‘abhorrent’ stabbing of Queensland Police officer in Cairns Central shopping centre
Police have charged a 22-year-old man accused of stabbing a police officer at a Queensland shopping centre on Tuesday.
The male cop, 50, suffered serious wounds after being allegedly stabbed once in the neck and twice in the stomach at Cairns Central Shopping Centre around 2pm.
