Analytical film Digital TV Research has issued a prediction indicating that the fast-growing Disney+ streaming service will reach more subscribers than Netflix globally in 2026.
The report, issued today, projects that the number of subscribers to Disney+ will reach 294 million in 2026 – exceeding the 286 million that it estimates Netflix will reach by that point. There’s a catch though – they suggest that in every country bar one, Netflix will still have more subscribers than Disney+ will.
