This magnificent aerial photo of Brisbane (Queensland Australia) was taken from a New England Airways ‘plane in 1934. Thanks to Bruce Robinson for the picture. Bruce’s grandfather was the founder of the pioneering airline. There were flights down to Sydney and to North Queensland. Take the picture up to full size and you will surely see Brisbane’s famed Tivoli Theatre Opposite the Brisbane City Hall.
