New Zealand’s government has been urged to quickly tighten its border regime in the wake of new COVID-19 cases in Auckland.

The New Zealand government stands accused of border complacency after the 10th leakage of COVID-19 into the community since last August’s major cluster.
Health officials are rapidly working to prevent the spread of the virus after three new cases emerged in Auckland this weekend.
In addition, Jacinda Ardern’s cabinet met last night and agreed to lock down the 1.6 million residents of New Zealand’s biggest city until at least Wednesday.
