Revenue at the electronic design software company fell for the first time in eight years, thanks to the “extreme” COVID-19 conditions in the US and Europe.

The market had anticipated bad news from the company after it released unaudited figures last month that indicated a 3 per cent drop in revenue. The final number was a 4 per cent decline, with revenue coming in at $US89.6 million ($115.4 million) for the six months ended December 31.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation fell 15 per cent to $US27 million, while its EBITDA margin slipped from 38.3 per cent this time last year to 33.8 per cent. Both of these figures exclude…
