Dylan Alcott on track for seventh-straight Australian Open singles title – Wide World of Sports
Reveals reason behind emotional celebration
Dylan Alcott had to play security guard and send a spectator out of his match before overcoming the brief interruption to beat Dutch young gun Niels Vink 6-4 6-3, keeping his pursuit of a seventh-straight Australian Open quad wheelchair singles title on track.
And the star Australian’s semi-final win means he’s set for a revenge clash with Dutchman Sam Schroder, who trumped Alcott in three sets in the 2020 US Open.
